How To: Black and White Outfit
This one actually sounds simple, what is a problem in creating a black and white outfit?
Many posts were written on this topic, we are bringing our point of view, adding some emerging designers to the mix.
So, how do you wear black and white outfit that is not too literal? First you need to understand what is the general direction you are taking with this outfit: is your outfit going to be minimalistic and clean, or is it going to be more romantic? Sporty? Casual? Of course it all depends on what you have in your closet.
It helps to match classic and simple items with a twist to create a subtle fashion forward look. A bit too simple, and you are at uniform zone, a bit too out there and the entire look seems busy.
We decided to go with outfit, entirely by HANNAH, and combined a modern crisp streamlined white shirt with relaxed tuxedo pants. The look is smart and yet casual and we love it! By the way, the designer duo definitely knows a thing or two about monochrome, judging by the fact that they created such a versatile collection based on these colors.
Now is time to accessorise. Only black and white can be quite limiting so we chose this light grey (still in the palette!) slouchy lunch bag by HAVIE and added some cool sunglasses and sandals.
We are ready to go and save the day!
