This book is a must for everyone who is interested in history of fashion and wants to have a better understanding how it got to be what it is today. "The Beautiful Fall" by Alicia Drake takes us to the cradle of ready to wear fashion, late 60's and 70's in Paris. The main figures who lead the narrative are Yves Saint Laurent and Karl Lagerfeld. In this book you will find fascinating interviews and get an insiders look into the stories of two creative geniuses, their struggles and demons, but also an insight on the entire fashion industry at the time. 

The book reads like fiction and is definitely a pageturner. We cannot recommend it enough, though it has already recieved more than its' fair share of reviews!
